TRADEMARK IS SEEKING A NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEMBER
The Nominating Committee is formed of volunteers from inside the Membership of Trademark Federal Credit Union for the purpose of nominating candidates to serve on the Credit Union’s Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee is responsible for nominating at least one candidate for each Board vacancy, including any unexpired term vacancy, for which elections are being held. The Committee will determine that the nominated candidates are qualified, agreeable to the placing of their names in nomination, and will accept office if elected. The Nominating Committee must consist of at least three members.
The duties of the Nominating Committee typically take place at the end of the first quarter, at least 30 days before each Annual Meeting. The Committee will review the credentials of any Members who are interested in serving on the Board of Directors of the Credit Union to determine if they are qualified to hold office. The review process is typically conducted via an email correspondence between the Nominating Committee members. These duties will usually require no more than an hour of time each year.
At least one person from the Nominating Committee is asked to join the Annual Meeting, typically held in the month of May, to announce the nominee(s). Attendance at the Annual Meeting requires about 5-15 minutes of time.
Must be a Member of the Credit Union to volunteer with the Nominating Committee.
