Fire Prevention Week is an annual event observed in the United States and Canada, typically held during the second week of October, commemorating the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Its primary goal is to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention, emphasizing the importance of smoke alarms, fire drills, and creating fire-safety in homes and workplaces.
This year, South Portland’s Cash Corner Fire Station is excited to invite you to their Open House, as they raise awareness and share valuable fire safety tips.
