This Member owned; not-for-profit cooperative holds the philosophy of “people helping people”. Our mission being to provide overall well-being for our Members, Employees and Communities. In listening to you and working to understand your unique story, we empower you to pursue your passion. With our mission in mind, we hope to help you, the bright minds of our communities in pursuing your passions and empowering you to achieve your goals.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Open to Maine residents only. Any student who is currently enrolled, or will enroll, full-time in an accredited post-secondary educational institution, pursuing an Associates or higher degree, is eligible. Two $500 scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, and other achievements of distinction, with special emphasis placed on community service. Applicants must have achieved at least a 2.7 GPA for the semester immediately preceding the distribution of any award. Graduating high school Seniors may apply for this scholarship, however, they must successfully complete their first semester of post-secondary education (meeting the GPA requirement) prior to the distribution of their award. Scholarship awards are sent directly to the financial aid office of the educational institution.
