Donation Drive

Team Trademark is administering a donation drive for two organizations that are helping individuals and families in our communities – Maine Needs, located in Portland, and the Family Violence Project, located in Augusta.  Please join us by donating new or gently used items to benefit these valuable community efforts.

The Family Violence Project

At our Augusta branch, we will be collecting donations for the Family Violence Project, an organization on a mission to end domestic abuse in Kennebec and Somerset counties, by offering support services and education and providing needed items to shelters and families in transition.

The Family Violence Project donation wish list items include housewares (pots & pans, dishes, kitchen appliances like coffee makers and crock pots, sheet sets, blankets, pillows, and towels), personal hygiene items (deodorant, body wash, shampoo, tampons, diapers), children’s items (baby bottles/sippy cups/pacifiers, crayons, notebooks, puzzles/toys, books), medicine (ibuprofen, cold & flu, band aids), and gift cards (grocery, gas, phone cards, Walmart, etc.).  They also collect used cell phones.

Maine Needs

At our South Portland branch and our Scarborough operations center, we will be collecting donations for Maine Needs, an organization working to help domestic abuse survivors, asylum seekers, and those facing financial hardships to overcome adversity through providing basic material resources through partnering with schools, caseworkers, nurses, and nonprofits.

The Maine Needs donation wish list items include clothing (baby/child socks, adult/child clothes, maternity pants, men’s sweatpants, adult snow boots, sneakers, adult backpacks),  hygiene products, child items (strollers, diapers, bottles/sippy cups, books, carriers/wraps, toys), household items (water bottles, pots/pans, cooking utensils, silverware sets, dish sets, sheet sets, comforters, strollers), and gift cards (grocery, gas, Target, Walmart, etc.).

Please be sure your donated items are clean and gently used.  We will also accept monetary donations for the organizations – please speak with a Member Services Officer when you visit or call us at 800-696-1146, to donate any amount.

Thank you for joining us in contributing to these efforts – “People helping people” has always been the credit union way!
